HYDRO ENGINEERING SDN BHD was incorporated in the month of May, 1985.  Since then  it has been  very active in contracting works which involved mechanical, electrical, instrumentation as well as civil construction works.

Prior to the incorporation of HYDRO ENGINEERING SDN BHD, the business was carried out under HYDRO ENGINEERING (1980 – 1984).        The two companies later combined and have completed numerous major projects which worth million dollars.

HYDRO ENGINEERING SDN BHD also offers a wide range of civil works.  With strong financial status and dedicated staff, HYDRO ENGINEERING SDN BHD has grew steadily and venture into other field such as operating its own quarry in the state of Selangor and became sole distributor for anthracite media imported from Canada.  It has also been very active in trading field and has captured the East Malaysia as well.  HYDRO ENGINEERING SDN BHD has become one of the major supplier of filter media to ELMIBINA SDN BHD, which then supply the media to the Malaysia Government.

The quarry is operating at Lot 2050,3253,3353 & 3254, which consist approximately 50 hecacre at Serendah, Selangor.  The type of sand being processed consists of  :-

HYDRO ENGINEERING SDN BHD owns 60% equity share of ELMIBINA SDN BHD since 1986.  ELMIBINA SDN BHD is currently registered as a Class “B” M&E Contractor with Pusat Khidmat Kontrator (PKK) for works related to mechanical pumping equipment, instrumentation and electrical controls at sewerage and water treatment. It is also currently registered with Lembaga Pembangunan Industri Pembinaan Malaysia (CIDB) as a “G6” Contractor and Kementrian Kewangan Malaysia. These licences are renewable on a yearly basis.
